I graduated from the College of Traditional Acupuncture with an Honours degree and am a member of the professional body of Acupuncturists – The British Acupuncture Council.
My experience of working with people from all walks of life, coupled with my own growth and learning, tells me again and again that Five Elements Theory is the treatment of choice to help and heal during these exceptional times. I have studied and taught Chinese Yoga and Tai Chi for around 23 yrs and worked with massage and energy work for around 10 yrs. I have also written and had published (and translated into a number of languages) 2 books on health care.
I studied for 7 yrs under a Tibetan Meditation Teacher and Healer, giving me profound insights into the world of health from an energetic perspective.
More recently I have built upon my learning and experience, training with Kathy Jones as a Soul Healer, which has both deepened my own healing and also helped me to work with people at a more profound level.
My father was a founder member of the British Medical Acupuncture society, being one of the first GP's in the UK to take Acupuncture into the medical profession. I worked as his PA for a number of years and was strongly influenced by his work and his teachings - I can therefore almost make the claim that Acupuncture is 'in my blood'!
It's my love of life that gives me the most profound respect for this way of working with health. I view every person I work with as an unique individual, building each treatment around their needs at the time. I have had a fascination with alternative and spiritual approaches to life from an early age, and what I love most is bringing out the spark in other people!
The Great Healer is love.
To become separated from love is to be hidden from this natural and powerful source.
Walking the healing path means reclaiming, honouring and welcoming home the shattered self
